Celebrate Science Indiana is Indiana’s Premier Science Festival. The annual festival held in Indianapolis is a public event that demonstrates the importance of studying science and the joy of discovery, the economic value of science, and its significance to society. For all age groups and for individuals from all walks of life, science impacts our daily lives, and the event aims to encourage young Hoosiers to pursue exciting, rewarding careers in science.

The Stone Age Institute participated in the Celebrate Science Indiana 2011 festival on October 8th. The Stone Age Institute exhibits promoted the study of evolution and critical scientific analysis with displays of fossil casts of our ancient ancestors and presentations by our scientists.

Stone Age Institute researchers presented materials and information and answered questions from festival-goers of all ages and backgrounds during the all-day event.
