Receive Honorary Doctorates

Stone Age Institute Co-directors Nick Toth and Kathy Schick received honorary doctorates from Tbilisi State University on September 24th, 2019 in recognition of their contributions to Georgian prehistory. Tbilisi State University is the Republic of Georgia’s oldest and largest university. In their 101-year history they have awarded only 120 of these honorary degrees.
Along with the honorary degrees, the pair received beautifully hand-illustrated and hand-lettered diplomas.
