THE J. DESMOND CLARK LEGACY SOCIETY
Those who remember the Institute through a will, trust, designation or other planned gift are invited to join in the Institute's J. Desmond Clark Legacy Society. Involvement in the Legacy Society gives you the opportunity to enjoy the company of others who, like yourself, care about leaving a legacy to continue our mission of human origins research and science education.
By naming the Society in honor of J. Desmond Clark, we honor and acknowledge the internationally renowned prehistoric archaeologist who bequeathed his library and artifacts to The Stone Age Institute. Members of the J. Desmond Clark Legacy Society are invited to all Institute events and, unless anonymity is requested, are recognized in Institute publications and on our website. Too often, legacy gifts are unrecognized because they come at the end of the donors' lives. The Legacy Society provides a way to thank and recognize donors during their lifetimes.
Your planned gift to The Stone Age Institute will have meaning and impact for years to come. We honor those who have made a lasting commitment by including charitable gifts to the Institute in their estate plans.
You may always choose to remain anonymous in your philanthropy with the Stone Age Institute. However, participation in the Legacy Society can be an inspirational experience, and may encourage others to look toward the future and how they too may have an enduring impact in human origins research and education.
Only a statement of intent to leave a gift to the Stone Age Institute is required. No documentation of gift amount or type is necessary. Legacy Society members may designate the use of the distributions from their future gifts, or may leave the distributions to the discretion of the Stone Age Institute Board of Directors.
